HughesLittle Balanced Fund

The HughesLittle Balanced Fund is for registered investors only – RSPs and RRIFs.  The Balanced Fund invests in equities, bonds and money market securities.

Minimum investment: $500,000 for British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec residents.

Management fee: 1 % per annum plus harmonized sales tax.

Other expenses: Legal, Audit, Trustee, Custodian, Recordkeeping and Administration fees plus any applicable taxes.

Commissions: None when purchasing or redeeming units.

Custodian: RBC Investor Services.

Auditors: KPMG Chartered Accountants.


RRSP Contribution Receipts for 2019 Tax Year:

As per our contact with Computershare March 23, 2020:

RRSP Tax Receipts 2019:

  • Electronic copies available online
  • Up to December 31, 2019 – started mailing out Wednesday 18th March
  • First 60 days – started mailout Friday 20th March

T4 RRIF slips 2019:

  • Electronic copies available online
  • Started mailing out first week of March

Reducing prescribed RRIF minimum by 25%:

Computershare has received no guidance from CRA yet. They will send a notice to clients once they hear from CRA.


RSP Contributions :

  • On-line contributions:

To make contributions to your RSP account online, simply add “Computershare Registered Plan Contribution” or “Computershare Private Client Solutions Contributions” as a bill payee on your personal on-line banking account. Use your Computershare account number (1). Currently the on-line feature is only available for accounts with major banks. Computershare is in the process of adding credit unions to the list.

  • Contributions by cheque:

Send a cheque made payable to “Computershare Trust Company of Canada” to our office address and we will deliver it to Computershare.
